In this New American Century we will find ourselves faced with an increasingly bleak economic and political future. In this dark reality many will try to ignore the desperateness of their situation by watching 30 hours of television a week, by denying personal responsibility, by the glorification of ignorance, by using drugs to disavow reality and by holding on to a ridiculous belief that they are members of a middle class
The 20% of the population who are willing to take action are milling about the internet playing meaningless mind games, complaining or searching for information which may stave off the impending pain. The world we live in has changed and the glory days of the second half of the 20th century are gone. Our belief in a greater future, in a nobler future and in a more prosperous future are gone and to bring them back now would take greater sacrifices then most of us today are willing to accept. At this moment, world governments and big businesses exert more influence and control over our lives then ever before and our right to make a conscience, rational and un-propagandize decision will very soon be gone, unless we take personal action now.
